Following a mastectomy, women who decide to have reconstructive breast surgery usually have several options to choose from including saline implants and transverse rectus abdominis muscle (TRAM) flap procedures.

Likewise, surgeons have a number of options available to support these sensitive procedures. Ethicon supplies a variety of tools to support reconstructive breast surgery including a human fibrin sealant that, as an adjunct, can achieve hemostasis in surgeries such as breast reconstruction, plus a variety of hemostatic gels, powders, and matrix meshes.

High-performing needles, absorbable and nonabsorbable sutures, antibacterial Plus Sutures, and DERMABOND® Topical Skin Adhesive are also available.
