Breast Reconstruction

Following a mastectomy, women who decide to have reconstructive breast surgery usually have several options to choose from including saline or silicone gel breast implants and transverse rectus abdominis muscle (TRAM) and other flap procedures.

Likewise, surgeons have a number of options available to support these sensitive procedures. Ethicon supplies a variety of tools to support reconstructive breast surgery including a human fibrin sealant that, as an adjunct, can achieve hemostasis in surgeries such as breast reconstruction, plus a variety of hemostatic gels and powders.

High-performing needles, absorbable and nonabsorbable sutures, antibacterial Plus Sutures, and DERMABOND ADVANCED™ Topical Skin Adhesive are also available.
